Stop Rushing In With Advice @boxofcrayons

I learned a long time ago in an aha moment that I could be much more effective as a leader if I embedded my advice into a group conversation through a question. Questions open up space for creativity, and they avoid appearance of driving conversation or introducing a waterfall effect (people lining up behind leaders), especially when you are perceived in a leadership role. Asking questions releases the pent up enter and overcomes the innate propensity to offer advice or to make premature assertions. Good article, and one that has a quick fix.
