I’ve followed and written about Systematic Inventive Thinking (SIT) so my eyes always perk up when I hear mention of one of the 5 core techniques of SIT.
The entire method applies one or more of the 5 in sequence or in parallel, even recursively, but in all cases there is an analysis of the feasibility and value generated through the creative process.
Thus, it’s interesting to read this group’s perspective on assessing value following a Subtraction step.
I recommend a read, and also a thought on how we should assess the strategic value of the other 4 techniques.
